Biography

I was born and raised in Paul Smith’s for my early years, living on the Keese Mill Road. I love this area and the Adirondacks. I am a life-long learner and feel a day I did not learn something is a day wasted. I am curious about why people do what they do and love to understand their thoughts and motivations. I enjoy problem solving and making things work. I like to be active and I participate in many organizations.

Interests and Activities

I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren and I love spending time with them. I also love to kayak, hike, bike, read, and love to cook and entertain. I love horses and was a former rodeo barrel racer!

Academic Background

I attended school locally and then transferred to Lake George High School where I graduated. I continued my education receiving degrees: an A.S. I teach math courses and am program chair for Integrative Studies as well as Department Chair for Environment and Society. I have also taught at Future Generations Graduate School.
